I wrote this program with software developers in mind. I found it was a pain to update my little ttro files because I would have to change them to TEXT files to edit them. Now I just use Doc Creator to import the ttro files and then export the updated information as a ttro file. Doc Creator can also store my files so I can just export new versions directly from the program without importing any information. If I get anyone to show interest in this program, I will probably add RTF support.
This program is being distributed as both a HC Stack and a stand alone application. Both function the same. NOTE: you must have a Hypercard 2.2 player to use the stack version of this program.
Set the type of document you want with the pop up menus above.
File Types:
• ttro = the Teach Text read only document with the icon that looks like a newspaper
• TEXT = plain text document. Many programs can open this format.
Creator Types:
• ttxt = Teach Text
• nX^n = WriteNow, a great and inexpensive words processor
• MSWD = Microsoft Word
Note: you can add you own file and creator types:
Importing:
When you click the import button you will be able to import the file type selected in the "File Type" pop up menu. When you import a file a new page is created with the same name as the file.
Exporting:
When you click the export button, the current page will be exported as a document with the type and creator information you have set.
Naming a File:
The small field in the top left corner sets the name of this page and the default name of the file.
Getting Around:
Use the arrow buttons, arrow keys, menus, or click the page number field in the bottom right of the window to access an index of all pages.
